Here's a small sample of the many events we plan every semester. Check out our Facebook page to find out more about our events! We also have talks by important Argentine professionals (such as Luis Moreno Ocampo and César Pelli), weekly club brunches and we're working on creating a conference for the spring semester where we'll have several Argentine speakers.

Argentine Movie Nights

Two nights of Argentine movie screenings (with subtitles) in Silliman's "Silliflicks" movie theather.

Some of the movies will include: "El Secreto de Sus Ojos," "Nueve Reinas," and "Relatos Salvajes."

First Party of the Year

This year's party guests included Argentine (or part-Argentine) students, Brazilians, a Mexican student, a German student, American students and other lovers of Argentina! We had Fernet brought from Argentina for those over 21.

Chocotorta Event

As a yearly tradition, the first CASY event of the year consists of getting together in one of the residential college kitchens to make the Argentine chocolate dessert called "Chocotorta."
